Weiss Cannon Black Edge

Siegfried Weiss, the architect behind the brand, has investigated the principle and the effects of angular extrusions and their role in increasing topspin.
Of all the Polygons, the Pentagon offers OPTIMAL projections from a given core size, making it the Polygon of choice in the manufacture of a tennis string, where surface abrasion is thought for the enhancement of ball "Spin".

(This makes all Hexagonal and Octagonal strings a =>mistake.....Ouch!)
Sorry other brands, but Weiss Cannon got it right (again).

Black Edge for short (full name "Black 5 Edge Power" is quite a mouthful) is constructed, from the same blend of high purity polymers as "Silverstring",  with some variations in the concentration of certain additives, the result is a super-comfortable feel with power on demand.

We found BLACK EDGE suited not only to the Top-Spin player, but also to the busy "All Court" player, providing much Extra weight on the ground shots, "Mule like" kicks, and "Master-chef" worthy, cutting and dicing at the net.
The best thing about the "BLACK EDGE", it is incredibly gentle on the arm. It produces more ball action than any of the other purpose strings on the market.
 Before "Black Edge" Top Spin strings were "dead" and gave "no power".
Well this is no longer the norm, "Black Edge" gives huge "top spin, super "Feel" and a "tons" of power.
